About our conductor:
 
The Philadelphia Wind Symphony is proud to announce the appointment of its new Artistic Director, Dr. Brad Genevro. Dr. Genevro currently serves as the Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music at Messiah College where he conducts the Messiah College Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds. Prior to his appointment at the College, he served on the faculties of Oklahoma State University and the University of North Texas.  Dr. Genevro holds the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Wind Conducting from the University of North Texas, where he studied with Eugene Migliaro Corporon.  He earned the Masters of Music Performance and Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he studied with composer and conductor Jack Stamp.
